I'm an Illustrator. I do children's book illustration. I want to become a painter and a comic artist. My style is highly influenced by manga, I'm still trying to develop my own style.
Not very good in English, so please be nice...
Currently starting a children's book publishing company.
I got myself a new steadier job as a Japanese language teacher. so now I teach basic Japanese for high school students. And I'm still doing my illustration jobs. Busy busy... well not really... I can still draw for myself. For now I'm enjoying it.
About Japanese language. I took cultural studies as my major. And I studied japan culture. I've forgotten so many things that i learned in my college years and now I'm back to basic once more. I want to take Japanese Language Proficiency Test next year. I want to take the Level 2 test. I failed at my last test 2-3 years ago. So I want to try once more...
And about drawing.... I've been wondering about opening commissions. The problem is what does it take to start? If some of you masters know what to do, please be kind to share your knowledge... I don't have any experience in taking online orders. I only took local jobs until now. I want to know how before starting something...
and about my story... still don't have a title, and still trying to develop it. Since I'm not good with words, I tend to draw what scenes I want to be inside the story rather than writing it. And I always stuck with dialogues and words... That's what you get for not reading much (text) books... *looking at my bookshelf filled with comics*
Umm I noticed that SA has changed it's layout a bit... quite nice... I hope there will be less down time like it used to be...
